We offer the families a reasonable amount of money for their homes and refurbished them back to the normal state meeting the requirements of the southern building code of Thomas County.  Most of the time, these homes are gone way too far for a quick fix-up.  There is normally quite a bit of damage through vandalism. It takes quite a bit of time and money to save them through remodeling. Most people would rather get a little something out of a home instead of having to pay someone to tear it down.

        The other option is we can list the home for sale at a retail price and try to get retail value for the owners.  Sometimes it takes a while to sell them this way. We are a brokerage firm also.  Even though we do not advertise and solicit this much, we are able to list and sell properties through the brokers license of Richard W. Cook.  Richard has been a Broker with the Georgia Real Estate commission since 1993.  Prior to that time, he worked under his father as a salesperson and associate Broker for 12 years.
